Under the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act, ITINs that have not been used on a federal tax return at least once in the last three consecutive years expire on December 31st, 2020 and ITINs with middle digits 88, 90, 91, 92, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, or 99 (for example: 9NN-88-NNNN) will expire at the end of the year.
We urge anyone with ITINs with middle digits from 70 to 87 to also renew as soon as possible!
